Ryan Fenchel is a Los Angeles-based artist whose work explores alchemy, the occult, and art history. Influenced by his regular travels to Japan, his recent paintings depict vessel-like forms through sparse layers of oil stick and chalk pastel. Fenchel holds degrees from the Kansas City Art Institute and Northwestern University and has exhibited internationally.
