Luigi Gorgoni

(1937 -) Italian Architect and Designer

Giovanni Luigi Gorgoni was born and raised in Milan, Italy. He graduated from the architecture program at the Politecnico of Milan, where he studied with the storied architects, Gio Ponti and Ernesto Rogers. Throughout his career, Gorgoni has worked as a freelance contractor in a variety of disciplines, including architecture, urban planning, lighting design, and furniture design. He has worked with private clients, product manufacturers, city governments, and architectural firms internationally. Early in his career he teamed with Maison Regain in the design for the leather sling dining chairs in the STOCK Studio collection.
