Hyunuko

HYUNUKO is the art and design studio of Los Angeles–based ceramicist Henry Kim, whose work blends the functional with the fantastical. Originally trained in literature, Kim discovered ceramics unexpectedly and went on to serve as Head of Ceramics at The Haas Brothers from 2012 to 2020. In 2020, he founded HYUNUKO, an independent practice focused on sculptural furniture, lighting, and vessels. His work draws on themes of nature, sci-fi, and escapism, blurring the line between fine art and design.
