multicultural upbringing, identity and practices within the home are consistent themes embodied into my sculpture and installations. …extending my studio artwork into home design resulting in hand molded candles inspired by english brutalist architecture and the island volcanoes of ometepe, nicaragua. as a result, discussion rises on the concept of home and how we rely on identity to define it.
